By creating a Moxie Circle account, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Platform purpose. Moxie Circle is a personal development and life-design coaching platform. It does not constitute clinical, psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

2. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years of age to use Moxie Circle. By proceeding you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Intellectual property. All platform content, design, and AI systems are the intellectual property of Moxie Circle. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

5. Acceptable use. You agree not to misuse the platform, submit false information, attempt to reverse-engineer the AI, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

6. Limitation of liability. Moxie Circle is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

7. Changes to terms. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing law. These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings.

Privacy Policy & GDPR

Data controller. Moxie Circle acts as the data controller for the personal data you provide. Our platform infrastructure is operated via Base44, whose servers are located in the United States. Data transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

Data we collect. We collect information you provide directly: your name, email, date of birth, place of birth, and responses to onboarding and coaching questions. We also collect usage data (e.g. pages visited, features used) to improve the platform.

How we use your data. Your data is used solely to: (a) personalise your AI coaching experience, (b) generate reflections, plans, and insights, (c) allow your assigned human Moxie coach to support your journey, and (d) improve our platform. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Legal basis (GDPR). We process your data on the basis of your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where applicable, for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Human coach access. Your conversations with Mirror (the AI), reflections, and plans may be reviewed by your assigned human Moxie coach solely to support your coaching journey. Coaches are bound by a confidentiality agreement and will not share your data externally.

AI processing. You consent to AI processing of your inputs to generate personalised insights, summaries, and coaching responses. No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made about you solely by AI.

Data retention. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Your rights (GDPR). You have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restrict or object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, go to Settings → Data & Privacy, or email us.

Cookies. We use essential cookies only (for session authentication). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
